1904. Louis Cartier granted the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to be able to tell the time while flying. This gave birth to one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship between two pioneers. Its rounded square dial, harmoniously curved lugs, and visible screws are all features of a watch that has been the subject of numerous reinterpretations.

Steel case, heptagonal crown set with a faceted synthetic spinel, silvered opaline dial, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Steel bracelet with "SmartLink" adjustment system.
